We need to stay friends, they’re so hard to find
we don’t need to argue, just wasting our time
To talk and to laugh, the next time we meet
to sit and enjoy would be pleasant and sweet
Now take a deep breath, and let a long sigh
think of feeling at peace when we meet eye-to-eye
You know what I’ve written, I know you can read
remember that all of us have the same need
To smile in the sunlight, and make love in the rain
to stay happy forever, far away from the pain
